Abstract
In Belarus a key element for the growth of transit trade will be the potentials of logistics. The attractiveness for investments in this country depends largely on costs, efficiency and risks of the logistical activities. Therefore the local politic aims at developing highly efficient logistic centers. In this article a (public private partnership-) project to build a logistic center in Grodno is described. For this purpose, the prevailing circumstances are characterized such as the relevance and current situation of the logistic system in Belarus, the national support programme and the location factors of Grodno. Another main focus lies on the project itself and its economic evaluation by means of a SWOT analysis as well as dynamical investment methods.
