Abstract
We are gathered here today to award to Professor Robert Alexy a honorary degree from the law school of the University of Catanzaro – indeed a „laurea magistrale honoris causa“. This event has beenmadepossible thanks to initiative of the rector of the University, Professor Giovambattista De Sarro, and the Director of the Law Department Geremia Romano, as well as his predecessor Professor Luigi Ventura.
