Abstract
Soziale Innovationen sind ein gegenwärtig viel diskutiertes Thema im Sozialbereich. Dabei geht es um nicht weniger als um neue Finanzierungsformen für soziale Dienste, um die Durchsetzung von Wirkungsorientierung auch als (Re-)Finanzierungskriterium und um die Förderung neuer Ansätze zur Bearbeitung alter sozialer Probleme. Mehr privates Engagement im Sozialbereich soll Probleme lösen, die die Politik nicht mehr angehen will. Vor diesem Hintergrund stellt sich die Frage nach den theoretischen Prämissen und praktischen Zwecksetzungen dieser neuen Sozialstaatsagenda.
Social Innovations – A New Concept of Social Service Production and its Consequences for the Social Economy
Social innovations are currently a topic of high interest in the social sector. New ways of financing social services, more impact orientation on all levels of social service production and finance, and new ideas to solve old social problems are promised. It is hoped that more private engagement in social services will lead to more efficient solutions than political intervention. This agenda leads to the question of which theoretical premises and practical aims this new design of social welfare policy is based on.
