Abstract
Law and Intertemporal Justice
The article deals with the new concept of an intertemporal guarantee of freedom developed by the Federal Constitutional Court in its decision on climate protection. The FCC`s argument centers around the idea of the spread of opportunities associated with freedom proportionately across generations. However, the main thesis of the article is that the new approach of the FCC does not address a problem of distribution of freedom over time in a coherent manner, but a problem concerning the credibility of constitutional law.
