Abstract
Narrative identity as an educational mission
Current challenges and crises, and ways of overcoming and solving them are related to education and educational work and pose the question of today’s understanding and educational mission. In particular, church educational work today must place the concept of education into the current context of society and lifeworld. This is referred to as contextualization and re-contextualization. It turns out that today’s church education is increasingly developing into the forming/shaping of identity.
