Abstract
In diesem Beitrag wird in knapper Form1 die Gestalttheorie als “fächerübergreifende allgemeine Theorie“ und “Rahmen für unterschiedliche psychologische Erkenntnisse und deren Anwendungen“ vorgestellt2. Nach kurzer Darstellung ihrer historischen Entwicklung und ihrer Einordnung als Denktradition in der Psychologie werden einige der Grundkonzepte eingeführt, die die Gestalttheorie (und die aus ihr heraus entstandene Feldtheorie) auszeichnen. Der methodologische Ansatz, die Erkenntnistheorie, das Menschenbild und die ethische Position dieses differenziert-ganzheitlichen Ansatzes werden verdeutlicht und Schlussfolgerungen für aktuelle Anwendungsbereiche angedeutet.
Introduction Into the Fundamentals of Gestalt Theory, Historical Developments and Actual Meaning
In this treatise Gestalt theory is characterized as an inclusive general theory and useful frame for various psychological findings and their applications. After a short look on the historical development and placement in the classification of psychological school-traditions, some of the main concepts are introduced. Especially the methodological, epistemological and anthropological as well as the ethical position of Gestalt theory are described, conclusions for actual applications are outlined.
